Founded in 1903, Amalie quickly developed a reputation for high quality, well-designed petroleum products. In 1953, Amalie was the first oil company to introduce a multigrade motor oil, the Imperial 10W30. Over the years, Amalie has continued to innovate with synthetic oils, lubricants with a high level of TBN, specialized industrial oils, as well as a technical service department and an on-site laboratory that only guarantees products from the highest quality. Amalie’s leading state-of-the-art production facility in Tampa Bay, Florida has some of the fastest and most sophisticated bottle blow molding, mixing and packaging equipment available on the market. Amalie mixes and packages over 3,000 different products in sizes ranging from 8-ounce plastic bottles to bulk rail transport.
In addition to their Amalie packaged products, they blend and package private label products for many of the most technically demanding customers including many international oil companies, automotive retailers, scheduled distribution groups, food and pharmaceutical retailers and supermarkets.
Their involvement in lubricants has led them to surpass themselves in various spheres of lubrication, such as high performance car engines since the early 1960s.
