The dish, Made in England, in the Plymouth pattern, was most likely the underplate for the gravy boat. It's a fantastic small size for the dining table, a soap dish, or as a dresser tray. The ceramic dish measures approximately 7 1 2" x 5 5 8" and is in very good condition with surface scratching.
