Description

with some varietally-undisclosed “white juice” blended in

Beautiful Ouillé (topped up) blend of 60% Chardonnay/40% Savagnin planted in the 1970s

while presenting a strong aromatic character combined with a sharp and clean ending

This is a bone-dry wine made from Kabinett-level fruit picked early in 2021 in the steep part of the Wintricher Geierslay (a vineyard previously known as Neuberg hence the name) which underwent whole-bunch fermentation before being matured on its gross lees in stainless-steel tank and bottled in November 2022 (the wine is an exclusive for Source Material Wine in the US)

Added S02: 40 mg/L
