Aspidistra daibuensis Yushan Starbright Living Wall 'Yattazu Yan Jaku' is one(aka: Aspidistra sp. A1TW 240a) Aspidistra 'Yushan Starbright' is our 2008 collection from 2,100' elevation in Taiwan's Hualien County. The 26" long x 3" wide dark green leaves are adorned with very large creamy spots. Aspidistra 'Yushan Starbright' was burned to the ground at 9 degrees F in 2013 2014, but resprouted nicely. Around Christmas time, the half dollar sized red and yellow pie shaped flowers appear at ground level among the leaf stalks.
