In the wild, Calylophus berlandieri is found in rocky, sunny grasslands, underlain with caliche, alkaline sand, or clay. The 1' tall x 3' wide clump of wavy stems are adorned with narrow, linear green leaves and 2" wide creamy yellow flowers all summer. Calylophus 'Butter Cream' is a significant color break from the typical lemony
