1930s Art Deco Satinwood Box 19th century wood and wrought iron bucket almost ghostly feel about itI love antique boxes and collect them in my own home. This is a beautiful 1930s Art Deco box in what I believe to be satinwood with the most glorious design distinctive of the period. It has a sloping sarcophagus shape. Internally, it probably had a lining at some stage as there are remnants of glue in the interior lid and unpolished surface on the inside base. There are some scratches and marks with an aged patina but with its glorious geometric
