For us, it flowers at 22" tall x 3' wide, which is exactly 1 2 the size of the typical species. By late summer, the foliage expands to 3' tall x 5' wide. For us, flowering of the terminal clusters of very light blue flowers begins in mid April. Amsonia hubrichtii is very tolerant of both dry and moist soils.
