These are a fossil beetles + dragon fly, preserved in tar from the Pleistocene ''La Brea Tar Pits'' of California. The distinct beetles are very well preserved in a 3 dimensional fashion. The detail is excellent. These are a very cool fossil insects from a classic fossil site.
