Miscanthus sinensis Little Miss PPAF Florida Native Plants topped soon after with terminalMiscanthus sinensis 'Little Miss' is a new maiden grass selection from German breeder Klaus Menzel. Starting in early May, the foliage of the 3' tall x 3' wide clump begins turning reddish purple, with the coloring intensifying as fall approaches. The clumps are topped with typical tan seed heads that rise above the foliage, starting in late summer. Miscanthus 'Little Miss' is a greatly improved replacement for Miscanthus sinensis 'Purpurascens'.
