Instituted 26th September 1939 and awarded for courage in the face of the enemy
Supplied without the 1914 clasp or Mons Bar
eligibility for the Air Force Cross was extended across all ranks of the Royal Air Force
Second award bars issued during the war do not carry the date of award on the reverse unlike those of World War One
Awards are only made after a thorough check of a soldier's record of service
Gulf Medal Full Size With 2nd August Bar NPP Instituted 26th September 1939 andAwarded to members of the Kuwait Liaison Team in Kuwait on 2nd August 1990. A silver rose emblem is worn on the riband when the riband only is worn. An extremely rare award with just 72 clasps awarded.
