Amorphophallus pygmaeus Indigofera The dark purple reflexed foliageAmorphophallus pygmaeus hails from central and eastern Thailand, where it can be found growing on limestone cliffs to 1500'. A. pygmaeus is another of the wonderful species with velvety green leaves, held atop a 1' tall stalk. Each leaf is further highlighted by a red edge and red leaf back grow this species for the foliage. The 1' tall peduncle (flower stalk) holds a small white cup from which pokes out its "too big for its britches" spadix.
