This off the press 2017 red wine is primary blend on zinfandel, cabernet sauvignon, Sangiovese, and merlot varietals of the Sierra foothills ava. Fermented in small lots with different yeast strains to maximize complexity. Aged for 22 months in oak barrels. Zinfandel 45%, cabernet sauvignon 15%, Sangiovese 13%, merlot 13%, Mourvdre 6%, cabernet franc 4%, Syrah 4% Tasting notes: this wine is dark garnet
