In study. 6.1 g Alanqa saharica Chennaoui AoudjehanePetrographic description The sample is mainly composed of euhedral to subhedral clinopyroxene and olivine phenocrysts in a fine grained groundmass. Clinopyroxene (augite) crystals are zoned, occasionally showing green non pleochroic core. The outer rim of augite crystals show light brown color, probably produced by transformation to pigeonite.
