Jaguar Clay Figure Jumpers Made from a variety ofThe jaguar has been Mexico's most enduring symbolic animal and it appears in the artwork and culture of all the ancient Mexican civilizations. This pottery figure is based upon a jaguar shaped throne found in the Maya 'Temple of the Jaguars' in the Yucatan. Made in the traditional 'barro' pottery style in a small family workshop in Texcoco, the jaguar has a hole in its back in order to be used as a planter or candle holder. Specifications: 10cm 9. 7cm
