Epimedium Lilac Cascade Eastern Asia discovered by High Country Gardens'Epimedium 'Lilac Cascade' is a 2001 Darrell Probst introduction, a cross of Epimedium sempervirens 'Candy Hearts' x Epimedium grandiflorum 'Yubae'. The semi evergreen, heart shaped foliage of Epimedium 'Lilac Cascade' re emerges in spring flushed with lilac, which soon morphs to a reddish leaf edge that disappears with spring warmth. The stalks of cascading mauvy lavender flowers top the clump starting in mid March (NC).
