Smooth Ambler Old Scout American Whiskey Size:750 A very maritime characterSmooth Ambler Old Scout American Whiskey is 99 proof, a blend of 2 whiskies with bourbon mashbills. Aged in charred new oak barrels and also in fresher re charred barrels, so technically it can't be called a bourbon. Expect a lot of spice and heat from the high alcohol content, caramel, cinnammon, and mild tobacco flavors. Rye, coffee, and mild butter on the nose. Sweet finish with hints of apple, caramel, and chocolate.
