Pardancanda norrisii Heart of Darkness Escallonia sturdy stalks of large(aka: Iris x norrisii) The amazing candy lily, Pardancanda 'Heart of Darkness' has been a stunner in our trials. This 2002 Darrell Probst introduction, emerges from a clump of basal foliage with 46" tall, thin, but sturdy stalks, topping out for us in early July with open sprays of diurnally open, six petalled violet flowers, each highlighted by a darker purple eye. Unlike many of the Pardancanda hybrids, this one has proven sterile. As long as the
