Zingiber mioga Crugs Zing Romneya (aka: Pelazoneuron kunthiiZingiber mioga 'Crug's Zing' is a Bleddyn Wynn Jones Crug Farm wild collection of mioga ginger from Chejudo Island, Korea. The dark green, 4" wide x 14" long leaves cloth the 4' tall upright fleshy stalks. Zingiber 'Crug's Zing' is a reasonably quick spreader, forming an 8' wide patch in good soil in five years. The base of each stalk is adorned with orchid like, burgundy and yellow bicolor flowers from September until a hard freeze.
