Once the new plants have begun to sprout at the base in spring

it's formed a 2-3' wide patch

Lycoris sprengeri Soft Cloud Spillers Thanks to Herman van BeusekomLycoris sprengeri 'Soft Cloud' is a 2024 Plant Delights JLBG introduction of an amazing selection of the Chinese Lycoris sprengeri with huge flowers (4. 5" vs. typical 2. 5" wide). The flower stalks on this selection emerge for us in mid August to 18" tall, topped with soft pink flowers with light blue tips. The foliage emerges in very late winter, mid February, in NC.
