Agave 'Painted Nails' is more compact in size by 20% and the pencil thin leaves emerge solid green and age to a narrow yellow edge, compared to the ivory edge of its parent. The rosette is also covered in more white hair than the floor of my barber shop. Agave x leopoldii does not sucker, but the rosette will branch with age. Each rosette
