The Halo fin was inspired by the Stand Up Paddle boards and wanting to make something very unique and original. Donald wanted to make a fin that would be a lot easier to turn while riding such a massive board. The fins have a very unique shape with the front edge being flat and back edge curved. It almost gives the perspective of the fins being backward, but ironically makes the board turn much easier and forgiving. You don't need
