Sarracenia rosea Fat Chance Spain and Texas and OklahomaSarracenia rosea 'Fat Chance' is another excellent Larry Mellichamp pitcher plant introduction, a selection of the Southeastern US native, Sarracenia rosea, (formerly Sarracenia purpurea ssp. venosa var. burkei). Larry made this selection in 1985 near Perdido, Alabama, for its larger than normal pitcher size.
