Antique French “Faciences Porcelaines Cristaux” Plate french faux bamboo mirror Place it on an easel
Yard notes & kiln story
Description
Place it on an easel or hang it with other antique landscapes
I would date this as around a1940s
The pattern and design is wonderful too
with just some areas on the surface where the gilt has come off the tray but this does not detract from the beauty of it
There are just a few tiny places where the wicker is slightly coming away (see pics) but it is in lovely usable condition
Antique French “Faciences Porcelaines Cristaux” Plate french faux bamboo mirror Place it on an easelAn exquisite antique French dinner plate with a glorious transferware landscape scene and an equally gorgeous makers mark. The cream coloured ironstone is beautiful. It is in good condition and has no chips or cracks. These plates were made by "Grand Depot de Porcelaines et Faiences E. Bourgeois Paris & Marseille", founded in 1862 by Emile Bourgeois, the famous store that imported English ceramics and commissioned his own work in France. Dimensions
