Hosta Thumbelina Conradina In September (NC)

Yard notes & kiln story

Description

In September (NC)

This exquisite woodland perennial makes a dainty-looking 12" wide clump of 2' tall stalks clothed with nondescript green foliage

Between the two leaves emerges a 15" petiole (stalk) that is topped in early June with a lovely small white pitcher from which emanates a 6-9" long

Always a customer favorite

Displayed prominently from the end of the swirled petals are it's reproductive organs

Hosta Thumbelina Conradina In September (NC)This wonderful new introduction makes a fast growing compact mound to 2' wide. The nearly round, medium green leaves are each edged in a nice creamy white border. The clumps are topped with 18" tall scapes of lavender flowers in early summer. H. 'Thumbelina' makes a great hosta for woodland borders.
