This cross of two spring leaf species, Lycoris sprengeri (haywardii) and Lycoris chinensis (sperryi) produces 22" stalks of peach buds with blue tips that open to reveal light yellow flowers, starting for us in early August. The back of the petal has a lovely reddish keel. After the flowers fade,
