Hosta Blueper Rock Garden Plants When plants begin to decline(aka Hosta 1995 044) This 2010 Plant Delights Nursery introduction originated as a 1995 cross of Hosta 'Fragrant Blue' x Hosta 'Halcyon. We have thoroughly enjoyed the resulting small growing 6" tall x 18" wide compact clump of silver blue leaves. The clumps are topped with 9" tall spikes of light lavender flowers starting in mid August a hummingbird treat. Hosta 'Blueper' has not been tissue cultured, so supplies are very limited.
