Trillium freatum 11 starting in late February/early-March (NC)(aka: Trillium x freatum 056ex) Trillium x freatum represents our nursery propagated hybrids between our discovery, the soon to be published Trillium freemanii (pod parent) and the baby daddy, a Trillium cuneatum from Lexington, NC. The result is a strain of very vigorous trilliums that grow like giant Trillium cuneatums, but with petals that can range from narrow to wide, representing the range between the two parents. The leaves are nicely mottled
