Galanthus S Arnott Sikkim region of India Hailing from the dry regionsGalanthus 'S. Arnott' is another superb snowdrop for garden performance that's prospered in cultivation for more than a century. It was originally introduced to English plant explorer, Henry Elwes by Scottish gardener, Sam Arnott, in the early 1920s. For us, starting in early February, it produces an abundance 1' tall stalks, tipped with white bells, with the central cup tipped green. Average to moist soils are fine.
