recipients included personnel from the British Army and Commonwealth forces serving across Europe
all awards to UK troops were awarded with impressed naming although some awards made for the Far East were engraved locally
A silver rosette is worn on the riband when only the riband is worn
This medal is supplied on a loose ribbon as originally awarded
Bust of King Henry VIII Naval General Service Distinguished Service Order GVI 2ndBust of King Henry VIII made in British Gypsum Plaster. As with all Famous Faces there are objects around the base. For this bust we have included Hampton Court, the Tudor Rose and the famous six wives; Catherine of Aragon, Anne Boleyn, Jane Seymour, Anne of Cleves Katherine Howard, Catherine Parr. The etch around the base bears the names of the six wives. Besides these wives, two of whom he beheaded, Henry VIII is known for his role in the separation
