The round and malty flavor of their original whiskey is finished for 12 months in 500 liter sherry butts, most of which previously held Pedro Ximenez sherry. A spicy, aromatic nose with notes of brown sugar and dark chocolate gives way to fruit compote and cinnamon on the palate, well complemented by the creamy body that Tullibardine is rightly celebrated for.
