Epimedium versicolor Cherry Tart New Zealand Compared to our Texas andThis 1999 fairy wing introduction was discovered as a seedling in the garden of our friend and keen gardener, Judy Springer of Virginia. The short rhizomes of Epimedium 'Cherry Tart' form a slowly expanding clump, topped, starting for us in late March with 1' tall deer resistant foliage that emerges with an attractive burgundy flush.
