'Candy Hearts' via H

Hosta Sweet Tater Pie Acorus since it was first introducedOur 1996 release resulted from a cross of H. 'Gold Scepter' x H. yingeri (H. 90 353). H. 'Sweet Tater Pie' has thick, waxy leaves that are very wavy. The glossy, chartreuse golden color (brightest in spring) changes throughout the wavy leaf like shadows on a mountainous terrain. The 30" wide clump is topped with purple, star like flowers in midsummer on 28" tall scapes the perfect southern dessert!
