Yard notes & kiln story
Description
When winter temperatures stay above 15 degrees F
planted in 2004
simply stunning
when the urge to procreate just becomes too overwhelming
Adiantum capillus-veneris 'Alabama Lace' looks like the typical southern maidenhair fern with its lacy fronds atop 1' tall black stems
Hosta Zippity Do Dah Shortia When winter temperatures stay aboveThis sport of our famous Hosta 'Abba Dabba Do' offers the same wonderful form with a nice white border as opposed to the typical golden edge. Each 4' wide clump is composed of the same wide pointed foliage each with a nicely twisting edge. In midsummer, the clumps are topped with 3' tall spikes of light lavender flowers. H. 'Zippity Do Dah' makes a large specimen clump, so allow plenty of room.
