Epimedium acuminatum White Flower Form Hymenoxys fast-multiplying hosta makes a smallThis very unusual epimedium is a white flowered variant of E. acuminatum from the mountains of Sichuan, China. We originally offered these as E. chlorandrum, not noticing the pollen was yellow instead of green. There is a possibility that this may eventually be determined to be a new species (Probst 2005). The 1' tall evergreen clumps produce long flower spikes, adorned with large, 1. 5", yellow spider like spur flowers, backed by long white sepals.
