Our 6 year old plants are now 4' tall x 4' wide, although they will eventually mature at 6' tall x 5' wide. The leaves are heavily spotted gold, but appear quite bright from a distance. Aucuba 'Mr. Goldstrike' is a male cultivar that serves as a pollinator for nearby females the perfect evergreen for dry shade.
